News - Black Swan Arts 2010 Open Arts Competition


Black Swan Arts are delighted to be hosting their eighth Open Arts Exhibition between 20th March 2010 and 1st May 2010.

The Black Swan Open Arts Competition is run bi-annually and encompasses a diverse range of visual arts and crafts, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, metal, wood, prints, photography and glass. The Open attracts some of the best contemporary artists and makers working in the UK and the judging panel for the 2010 Open Arts Competition include celebrated Bristol sculptor, Carol Peace, Internationally renowned painter Mark Karasick and senior lecturer and printmaker, Ian Chamberlain.

Prizes for 2010 include The Burton Sweet Award of £1000; the Bax Award of £250, FDC Award of £250 and the Public Choice Award of £150.
